Volunteer

The United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton has a new program to make community volunteering easier. The “On-Call Volunteer Program” allows individuals of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to select their own schedules for volunteering, even if it’s just a couple of hours a week.

 

Everyday, we are reminded of the needs in our own community: food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, affordable childcare--the list goes on and on.  The United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton is eager to coordinate the talents of local citizens to better meet these needs.

 

Volunteers are greatly needed for mailings, filing, answering phones, and special projects now and throughout the year. If you have thought about volunteering but didn’t know how or where to begin, then the “On-Call Volunteer Program” can get you started. Since you can choose a regularly scheduled activity or a more flexible schedule, your volunteer experience will be rewarding and worth your time. So much can happen when we work together, and with your generous donation of time, the United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton can continue to make a positive impact on our local community.
