Our Results

In the past five years, United Way has been a leader in forging meaningful partnerships to meet the critical needs in our service area.  And we are getting results.

  • We have leveraged $3.2 million in federal grants for housing issues through our work with the Greater Attleboro/Taunton Coalition on Homelessness.
  • Incidences of tooth decay in Taunton schoolchildren have decreased since the Taunton Oral Health Collaborative began in 2000.
  • We have made progress in removing the transportation barriers that kept children from attending afterschool programs, seniors from much-needed medical appointments, and working families from attending soup kitchens for a hot, nutritious meal.

Read more about our successes.  The Success Stories page has personal stories about real people who use United Way services.  The Case Studies page has statistics about specific problems and information on how United Way is working on those problems.
