Community Impact
Our Community Matters: Community Impact
Community. Partnership. Leadership. Results.
what matters.
United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton Inc. mission is to do the most possible good for the greatest number of people; to help people in need through a caring, volunteer-driven organization; to raise and distribute funds for programs and services that respond to current, critical and emerging community needs; to fing long term solutions to community problems and to improve the quality of life for all of our neighbors.
It is also involved in three strategic community initiatives targeted to impact access and awareness of services and economic self-sufficiency – community initiatives that are designed to have a greater community impact than any single program or agency can achieve when working alone.
Volunteer Community Investment Team members are committed to producing results that matter in these targeted areas of impact:
• Basic Human Need
• Healthy Communities
• Children & Families
Community Impact Teams
The United Way Community Investment Team’s are a group of dedicated volunteers, focused on a specific area of community impact. It is a multi-sector collaboration of non-profit agencies, government, business, education, health care and other volunteers from across the greater Attleboro and Taunton areas convened for the purpose of identifying, prioritizing and addressing needs in the community.
