What We Do

At United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton, community is our cause.  We work to improve the quality of life of all residents, and we do it with the help of everyone - businesses, non-profit groups, schools and government, the faith community and you.

 

When you support United Way, you are investing in the community - keeping neighborhoods safe, helping children & youth, and making sure everyone has access to the most basic human needs.  

 

In the past five years, we have secured over $3.2 million in federal grants for housing issues; incidences of tooth decay in Taunton schoolchildren have decreased since we opened the Taunton Oral Health Clinic; we have made significant progress in removing the transportation barriers that kept seniors from much-needed medical appointments, children from afterschool programs, and working families in need from attending soup kitchens for a hot meal.

 

UWGAT serves the communities of Attleboro, Berkley, Dighton, Mansfield, North Attleboro, Norton, Plainville, Raynham, Rehoboth, Seekonk and Taunton, Massachusetts.
